Click information
Cost Per Click and Positioning
Merchants can set a CPC for each listings. The position of a listing within a category is determined primarily by the highest CPC, then by the lowest price. If all the listings in a category have the same CPC, the listings will be ordered by price.
Once a shopper has clicked on a product, they are then shown a list of merchants that sell that product. The order of the merchants is primarily ordered by the CPC. If you have a higher CPC for your listing, your listing and shop logo will be shown first on the product page.
If a shopper then clicks on your listing or shop logo, they are sent to your shop and the CPC is deducted from your account balance. Information is available about each click including IP and various system variables. By providing this level of information, both us and the merchant have a better understanding of who is clicking on their listings
To prevent click fraud and provide value, we only charge the merchant once per IP address per day so if a shopper clicks on 5 of your listings, you will only be charged for the first click.
Click statistics
Click statistics and reports are provided with each account showing monthly and daily click bar charts along with browser, operating system and screen resolution pie charts. Each and every click is recorded to show the users IP address and as much information about the click as we can retrieve.
This level of transparency, make Price Window a unique and very easy to understand system.
